RAPID CITY, S.D. – The South Dakota Mines volleyball team has been on fire and continued that trend on Saturday as they took on the 14th-ranked Colorado Mesa Mavericks.
The Mavericks came into Rapid City with a 22-3 overall record and a 12-1 RMAC mark, but that didn’t deter the Hardrockers, who continued to stay hot, taking the five-set match, winning their sixth straight overall and moving to 9-0 in the King Center to finish the regular season undefeated.
Overall, the Hardrockers moved to 18-8 and 11-3 in the RMAC.
South Dakota Mines will face the sixth seed in the opening round of the RMAC playoffs on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at the King Center.
