CUSTER, S.D. – The Custer County Sheriff’s Office says a missing Custer woman has been found dead.
Her body was found in rural Fall River County Tuesday evening near her vehicle.
The Custer County Emergency Management issued a release Thursday with the news.
Johnna Helen Bense, 59, was reported missing last week. Authorities say she left home without her glasses, hearing aids and medication.
Bense’s death is being investigated by the Fall River County Sheriff’s Office.
