PIERRE, S.D. – South Dakota health officials reported 86 new COVID-19 cases in their Monday report.
Of the 86 cases, 17 of them were considered probable.
Active cases totaled 1,512 and the number of people hospitalized decreased over the weekend to 105.
Three new deaths were reported, sending the state’s death toll to 1,970. The new deaths were reported in Dewey, Lake and Yankton counties.
Pennington County had 14 new cases with one of those listed as probable.
Meade County had two new, confirmed cases and Butte County added one new case.
Custer County had four new cases, but three of them are listed as probable.
Oglala Lakota County had two new cases.
