DENVER, Colo. — Despite playing well and outscoring the Roadrunners in the second half, the South Dakota Mines Men’s Basketball team was not able to end 2021 with a win.
The Roadrunners escaped with a 57-52 victory.
Kolton Mortensen led the Hardrockers with 10 points.
Meanwhile, Despite an individual accomplishment from Ryan Weiss, and a competitive second half, the Hardrockers fell to end 2021.
The Roadrunners outscored the Hardrockers 19-6 in the first quarter and never looked back, cruising to an 80-52 win.
Ryan Weiss led South Dakota Mines with 17 points.
