RAPID CITY, S.D. – The man arrested over the weekend for first-degree murder and first-degree robbery did not attend his scheduled initial appearance in court Tuesday.
35-year-old Cole Younger was unable to attend today’s initial appearance because of what officials called “substance use”. However, it was unclear what substance was used or when.
Younger is accused of the murder of 41-year-old Brandi Snowfly, who police say was found Sunday in a room at the Rodeway Inn on North LaCrosse Street with lacerations to her neck.
Younger was arrested after allegedly stealing a rideshare vehicle.
As of now, Younger is set to make his initial court appearance Wednesday.
