STURGIS, S.D. – Natrona County, Wyoming won both the boys and girls team titles of the Sturgis Invitational Cross Country Meet Thursday.
Natrona County won the boys title with 35 points with the home team Scoopers taking second. Custer finished third and Campbell County, Wyoming placed fourth.
Natrona County won the girls team title with 45 points. Custer was second and Sturgis came in third.
Winning the boys race was Sawyer Clarkson of Belle Fourche in a time of 15:17.61. Jackson Dutcher of Natrona County was second and Braik Hurm of Campbell County finished third. Top placing Scooper was Deron Graf in sixth.
Winning the girls race was Hailie Willhelm of Natrona County in a time of 19:25.37. Kadense Dooley of Custer was second and Reilly Wilson of Campbell County was third. Top placing Scooper was Paige Willnerd in eighth.
