New COVID-19 cases Monday total 105

PIERRE, S.D. – State health officials reported 105 new COVID-19 cases with 19 of them listed as probable.

In the Monday report, active cases were at 2,244 and the number of people hospitalized was up slightly to 62.

No new COVID-19 related deaths were reported today, keeping the state’s total since the pandemic began at 1,923.

Pennington County reported 6 new cases today, with 2 of them listed as probable.

Meade County had 2 new cases and one new case each was reported in Butte and Oglala Lakota County.
