PIERRE, S.D. – South Dakota Housing has launched a program to assist collegiate graduates purchase their first home.
The Grants for Grads program went live on May 3.
It is open to first-time home buyers who are purchasing a primary residence and graduated from an accredited university in the past 60 months.
There are income restrictions and purchase price requirements as well.
The program is offered only through participating lenders, with assistance capped at 5% of the loan amount.
