RAPID CITY, S.D. – Deputies and Pennington County Search and Rescue say they helped find a 51 year old hiker who collapsed Friday afternoon near Grizzly Creek in the Keystone/Rushmore area.

Life saving measures were taken until emergency services could reach them. Sadly, the hiker was pronounced deceased on scene.

The next of kin has been notified. The deceased is from Alexandria, Minnesota.
