RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Rapid City Marshals opened the regular season on Saturday with a convincing win over the Topeka Tropics, 46-25.
The Marshals scored first and never trailed en route to the victory.
Quarterback Bobby Froehlich completed 23 of 36 passes for 191 yards and four touchdowns.
Wideout Demetrius Davis had five catches for 71 yards and three touchdowns for the Marshals who are 1-0.
The Marshals will look to stay undefeated as they host the Sioux City Bandits on Saturday, April 9.
The game is scheduled to kickoff at 7 p.m. at the Summit Arena.
