PIERRE, S.D. – The South Dakota Department of Education is awarding its 2023 Workforce Education Grants.
Over 820-thousand dollars is being awarded to five technical and career education programs.
Edgemont School District is receiving nearly $85,000 in funding to purchase heavy equipment simulations for its architecture and construction program.
The Wall School District received the largest sum – $225,000 – and is using the funding for the construction of a Career and Technical Education space expansion.
Parker School District, Sioux Falls School District, and Woonsocket School District are receiving funds for various construction projects.
