Singer/songwriter from Rapid City turns chairs on “The Voice”

RAPID CITY, SD – The second time was the charm for Rapid City singer/songwriter Rowan Grace as she performed for an all-new episode on Monday night, October 10, during the famed reality TV competition series ”The Voice” airing its final Blind Auditions.

A watch party at Rapid City Central was held for the Cobbler student who had auditioned for the show in 2019 and had gotten a call back but ultimately not a final slot.

Rachel Windsor with SK POP reported Gwen Stefani had only two spots remaining and was looking for a young female singer to add to her team. Rowan Grace took to center stage to perform her rendition of Olivia Rodrigo’s “Traitor.” Her clear tone and contemporary voice made both Stefani and John Legend turn their chairs immediately for her. Later, Camila Cabello also turned her chair for “The Voice” contestant.

Family and friends supported the young performer both on location of “The Voice” and at a watch party held at Rapid City Central.  Photo “The Voice.”
