STURGIS, S.D. – The Sturgis Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitor’s Bureau is hosting a community showcase Wednesday.
The event runs from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Sturgis Community Center.
Chamber Receptionist and Events Coordinator Kadence Gleason, says this event is an opportunity for the public to learn about all of the unique local businesses in the Sturgis area.
She says you can view sample merchandise, learn about their missions and visions and get to know our local business owners.
Gleason says this is a showcase event, meant to inform the public about products, missions, and the like, so they were asking businesses to refrain from making sales. Accepting donations, however, is allowed.
The chamber was expecting upwards of 40 businesses to participate in today’s showcase.
