UNDATED – The Yellow Jackets lost three competitive sets against the Adams State Grizzlies losing set one 18-25, set two 23-25, and set three 21-25.
Sierra Ward led the Yellow Jackets in kills with 10 while recording four blocks.
Karly Marx recorded 13 assists and was the assist leader for BHSU.
Haedyn Rhoades led the Yellow Jackets in digs with nine with Kindra Cerrone close behind with eight digs.
Katie Welniak led the team in aces with two.
After starting set one 1-1 the Yellow Jackets were able to get ahead of the Grizzlies going up 1-4. BHSU would hold a steady lead over the Grizzlies until the two teams would find themselves locked at 13 apiece. The Grizzlies would use that tie to their advantage going on a 12-5 run to defeat the Yellow Jackets 18-25 in set one.
In set two the Yellow Jackets and Grizzlies would trade points back and forth with neither team going ahead by more than three points at any point. With both teams tied at 23 Peyton Bodemann would go to the line to serve but the Yellow Jackets would be unable to pull the victory out dropping the next two points to fall in set two 23-25.
The Grizzlies would take an early lead in set three going up 4-1. The Yellow Jackets would battle hard with the Grizzlies throughout the set coming within striking distance of the lead but would be unable to lock in the lead at all throughout the set. Down by two at 16 the Yellow Jackets would then be outscored 7-5 to close out the set falling 25-21.
After a short break in play the Yellow Jackets would face off against Colorado Mesa. BHSU ultimately would fall to Mesa three sets straight losing set one 16-25, set two 20-25, and set three 15-25.

Marx and Katelyn Sylvester each recorded an ace in the second match of the day.
BHSU would open set one going up 2-0 and would hold that lead until the Mavericks would tie the game at seven all. The Mavericks would put together two long scoring runs going up 15-8 over BHSU and then 21-13 before sealing the game at 16-25 in favor of the Mavericks.
Set two would prove to be a close contest for the Yellow Jackets and the Mavericks with both teams trading points back and forth with long rallies. The teams would lock the score five times before either team hit ten points. Colorado Mesa would then put together a few short scoring runs putting them up by as much as eight points over BHSU. The Yellow Jackets would put together a rally at the end pulling within three at 20-23 putting the set victory within reach. Ultimately the rally would fall just short with the Mavericks dropping the final two points on the court to seal the 25-20 victory over BHSU.
In set three the Mavericks would jump out to an early lead over the Yellow Jackets racking up six straight points to open the set. The Yellow Jackets would battle with the Mavericks but would ultimately be unable to put together a scoring run to overcome that deficit. Ultimately BHSU would fall to Colorado Mesa 25-15 in set three losing the game 3-0.
