BILLINGS, SD – Of 124 horses consigned, the overall sale average was $4,027, overall top five average $19,680, and the overall top 10 average $15,210.
In the Performance Division, the high selling performance horse, “Dixie”, a gelding consigned by Lydia Hutchinson, Belgrade, MT and purchased by Flying Triangle Ranch, Riverton, WY brought $23,000.
In the Colt Classic Subdivision a consignment from Alameda, SASK brought top money, a gelding from Tye & Kelly Klatt, “KQH Mr Tyrees Duke,” selling to the Flying Triangle Ranch for $10,625
Yearlings were in demand at the NILE Gold Buckle Horse Sale. The high selling yearling stallion “Royal Dualin Pepto,” was consigned by Ashley Quarter Horses, Belt, MT, selling for $26,000.
The overall average on yearling consignments was $5,6643.
In the Weanling Division, Ward Fenton, Worden, MT consigned the high selling weanling, a stallion, “Zipanics Pick,” that brought $8,500 from Aspen Larmer, Molt, MT.
Weanling fillies averaged $3,310.
