No serious injuries in two vehicle on I-90 Tuesday

STURGIS, S.D. – The Meade County Sheriff’s Office and the Highway Patrol were among those responding to a crash on I-90 near mile marker 35 on Tuesday night.

Meade County Sheriff Pat West says at approximately 7:27 p.m., a passenger car was traveling westbound on I-90 when it lost control and left the road, sliding through the median and colliding with a semi truck that was traveling eastbound.

West says fortunately, there were no serious injuries reported.

He says roads were icy in spots and that may have contributed to the crash.

It wasn’t the only accident on Tuesday. A multi vehicle accident was reported at the I-90, Exit 14 overpass. The highway patrol has not releases accident report on that crash as of Wednesday night.
