Noem proposes ban on abortions based on a Down Syndrome diagnosis

PIERRE, S.D. – Ahead of her State of the State Speech today, Governor Kristi Noem tweeted that she will “propose to the South Dakota Legislature that we ban abortions based on a Down Syndrome diagnosis.”

The governor appeared on Fox News Tuesday morning with former U.S. Congressman from Wisconsin Sean Duffy and Fox News contributor Rachel  Duffy and the couples child.

The interview took place inside the Governor’s mansion which appears to explain an uplink truck captured by KCCR Radio this morning, parked outside.

Noem earlier had a full TV studio installed in the basement of the State Capitol a short distance from the Mansion.

As of now, there are still no plans for the Governor to address the state media. Her spokesman so far has stated there is no planned media call after today’s State of State Speech and her media team has not indicated any press availability in the future.

The Governor has not spoken to the state media since calling two Democrat Georgia Senators who won their races this past week “communists.”
