STURGIS, S.D. – The Sturgis Chamber of Commerce Thursday welcomed a new non- profit organization to town today that focuses on stopping bullying, verbal abuse and disrespect.
Generation Good Respect in a non-profit organization that works to bring respect back into schools and encourage youth to live up to their potential.
The group has been around for several year, but is newly celebrating becoming a member of the Sturgis Area Chamber of Commerce.
The group’s mission is to stop the cycle of bullying, verbal abuse and disrespect. It works to promote and implement strategies that foster positive relationships and inclusive communities. Its hope is to work with school, families and the community as a whole.
