Official 2023 National Champions Bobbleheads Unveiled

MILWAUKEE, WI – South Dakota State Football 2023 National Champions Bobbleheads and the SDSU Back-to-Back National Champions Bobblehead were unveiled this week.

The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum has unveiled three new, officially licensed, limited edition bobbleheads commemorating the success of the South Dakota State University Jackrabbits FCS Football National Championships the past two years.

Co-founder and CEO Phil Sklar says they have created two bobbleheads for SDSU’s win over the Montana Grizzlies this past Sunday (Jan. 7, 2024).

“SDSU, as most of your listeners probably know, won the 2022 College Football FCS National Championship. We produced a bobblehead for that championship and it was one of our best selling bobbleheads of all of 2023 and in the Top 10 for all the bobbleheads we offer during the year which is probably close to a thousand different bobbleheads,” said Sklar.

“That was really cool to see the support from SDSU fans,” he added, continuing, “As soon as the final whistle blew, we had two new  SDSU championship bobbleheads commemorating the 2023 championship.  These have two different jersey colors available; one in blue and the other in a white jersey. Both are standing on the official 2023 championship base with SDSU logos and colors, so it’s a different design than last year.”

Sklar says a person is able to buy one or both.

“We expect them to arrive in May,” said Sklar. “Each one is individually numbered to 2024.  Once they’re gone, they’re gone.  We recommend people pre-order. There will also be availability through  the bookstore, Jackrabbit Central.”

Additionally, Sklar says just this morning (Jan. 12, 2024), the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled its officially licensed SDSU Jackrabbits Football Back-to-Back FCS Champions Bobblehead.

He says there’s also a limited number of the bobbleheads commemorating SDSU’s first National Championship still available.

The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, opened to the public on February 1, 2019.
