STURGIS, S.D. – Paige McPherson greeted her fans and friends at a special meet and greet at the Loud American in Sturgis last night. .
McPherson has recently returned from the Tokyo Olympics, in which she competed in Taekwondo.
Paige came home fourth in her weight class.
McPherson stopped by the KBHB studios earlier in the day and talked about her experience at this year’s event.
McPherson also touched on the mental health of Olympics athletes which came to the forefront when Simone Biles withdrew from several gymnastics events citing mental health.
McPherson says she is glad to be home, visiting with family before returning to Florida on Saturday.
As for the future, she plans to finish school in the short term.
McPherson left open the possibility of returning to the Olympics – but perhaps more on the coaching side of things, rather than the competitor.
