RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Pennington County Sheriff’s Office conducted compliance checks of county alcohol establishments, Wednesday, January 29, 2020. A total of 15 businesses were checked. One business was in violation caught selling alcohol to underage informants.

Miner Brewing Company- 23845 Highway 385, Hill City
Naked Winery – 23851 Highway 385, Hill City
Krull’s Market – 531 E. Main Street, Hill City
Heart of the West Conoco – Hill City
Alpine Inn – 133 Main Street, Hill City
Firehouse Brewery and Wine Cellar – 23858 Highway 385, Hill City
Barlee’s Food and Drink – 253 Swanzey St, Keystone
BJ’s Country Store – 13620 S. Highway 16, Rapid City
Putz N Glo – 23694 Strato Rim Rd, Rapid City
Corner Pantry Moon Meadows – 7501 Dunsmore Rd, Rapid City
Rim Rock Happy Tavern – 12330 W. Highway 385, Rapid City
Heart of the Hills Exxon, 101 Main Street in Hill City was in violation, caught selling alcohol to a minor. An employee was issued a citation. Furnishing alcohol to a minor is a class 2 misdemeanor punishable by 30 days in jail and/or a $500 fine.
