RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City police are investigating a shooting in west Rapid City that has now claimed the life of an individual.
Police initially responded to an incident that occurred inside an apartment in the 4000 block of Range Road on Monday night.
Three males were transported to the hospital for treatment of sustained in a shooting there.
Police say one man, identified as 18-year-old Marquise Walker of Rapid City, died at the hospital Tuesday. No information has been released on the other two victims.
The police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting incident. They are analyzing physical evidence recovered from the scene and gathering information from individuals who were inside the residence at the time of the shooting.
