RAPID CITY, S.D. – In what has turned out to be a violent weekend in the Rapid City area, the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office says one person is deceased after a shooting Sunday morning, August 21, 2022, at a mobile home at 1980 Country Road.
Authorities say the shooter has been identified and is currently being interviewed by Law Enforcement, although no information has been released.
The sheriff’s office says they are still working to identify the male victim.
They report there is no danger to the public.
The incident remains under investigation.
