UNDATED – The South Dakota High School Baseball Association has released the first round pairings for the region tournament, which gets underway Saturday, May 21.
The Sturgis Scoopers are in region 4, and will be in Mitchell to play fifth-seeded Harrisburg in the first round. That game is Saturday at 2:00 p.m. CT/1:00 p.m. MT. Sturgis goes in the 12th seed.
Opposite Sturgis in the bracket is fourth-seeded Mitchell playing 13th seeded Sioux Falls Jefferson.
In Region 3 at Brookings, the Bobcats will play Huron and sixth-seeded Sioux Falls Washington plays Sioux Falls O’Gorman, the 11th seed.
In Region 1, top-seeded Sioux Falls Roosevelt gets the bye and will face the winner of eighth-seeded Pierre vs ninth-seeded Yankton.
And, in Region 2 at Brandon Valley, the Lynx will play 15th seeded Rapid City Central and seventh-seeded Sioux Falls Lincoln plays 10th seeded Rapid City Stevens.
The State Championship tournament is May 28 at Sioux Falls Stadium.
