BOX ELDER, S.D. — The Pennington County Sheriff’s Office says they are investigating the fatal stabbing of a female victim in Box Elder.
In a Facebook post from the sheriff’s office, authorities say a female has died from a stabbing that took place at an apartment building, located at 615 Northern Lights Boulevard. The incident was reported on Sunday, October 11 at around 10:30 p.m.
An autopsy was performed this morning on the victim, who has been identified as 39-year-old Tessa Curley of Box Elder.
The Box Elder Police Department, Rapid City Police Department and the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office are conducting the investigation.
