Pete Ferguson, age 51, of Norris, South Dakota, died on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 near Norris.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 22, at 10:30 a.m. (CDT) at St. John Lutheran Church near Norris. Burial will follow a luncheon at the Belvidere Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife Marla of Norris; a daughter Olivia Wooden Knife (Cole Iyotte) of Norris; a son Michael Grass, Jr. of Norris; grandchildren Cole Jr., Colton, Carter and Makenna Iyotte, Dennessa Red Elk, Dennis Wooden Knife, James Red Elk, Jovanna Rodriguez, Mae Wilcox, William, NaTalia, Paisley and Bayn Elliott; his mother Carol Ferguson of Norris; two brothers Jesse Ferguson of Norris, and Cole Ferguson of Rapid City; a sister Cora Brickman and her husband Scott of Black Hawk; brother in-law Waylon Wooden Knife of Rapid City; nieces Kaitlyn Ferguson, Moya Brickman, Suni Wooden Knife, and Shelley Wilcox; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Pete was preceded in death by his father Ed Ferguson on December 1
