Pierre Govs Down Scoopers

STURGIS, SD / PIERRE, SD – The Pierre Governor boys and girls basketball teams defeated the Sturgis Scoopers on Friday night in two different locations.

The Scooper boys traveled to Pierre and the Govs pummeled Sturgis, 65-19 to improve to 3-0 on the season. The Governor girls downed the Scooper girls by a score of 52-24 at West Gymnasium to get their first win and improve to 1-2.

The Sturgis boys (0-3) travel to Aberdeen to play Aberdeen Central on Saturday. The Scooper girls (0-3) host Aberdeen Central on Saturday at West Gym.
