UNDATED – Pierre captured the team title of the 2022 Girls Class A State Tennis Championship.

The Lady Govs finished with 506.5 points. Finishing second was St Thomas More with 397 and Sioux Falls Christian was third with 388. Huron and Rapid City Christian round out the top five.

Winning individual titles were Athena Francilliso of St Thomas More in Flight 1, Kara Weiss of Pierre in Flight 2, Allison Hill of Rapid City Christian in Flight 3, Jocelyn Corrales of Pierre in Flight 4, Anna Westenberg of Sioux Falls Christian in Flight 5 and Emily Westenberg of Sioux Falls Christian in Flight 6.

In doubles play, Pierre won Flight 1 and Flight 3 and St Thomas More won Flight 2
