Pine Haven Fire now 100-percent contained

PINE HAVEN, Wyo. – The Pine Haven Fire, on the edge of the Pine Haven, Wyoming Town limits, is now 100% contained. The acreage burned remains at 103. The cause of the fire is believed to be unintentionally human caused.

Mop up operations will continue through Sunday evening. Unburned fuel remaining inside the containment line will continue to burn and smolder so some smoke will continue to be visible.

Resources remaining on the fire this evening is one type 6 (smaller grass unit) engine. Air support resources have been suspended as of this evening.

Wind Creek Campground at Keyhole State Park remains closed until further notice. All other evacuations and closures have been lifted.

The Incident Management Team would like to sincerely thank all individuals, Pine Haven residents and businesses for their generosity and kindness towards all firefighters and agencies. They appreciate your continued cooperation until the fire is released.
