BOX ELDER, S.D. (AP) — Authorities in Box Elder say a 19-year-old was arrested after he allegedly brought a loaded weapon to a high school basketball game.
Box Elder police said the teen was one of four people who showed up at the Douglas High School game on Tuesday after drinking.
The suspect had the gun tucked into his waistband, police said.
Staff attending the game had notified the school resource officer of a potential problem.
KELO-TV reports that none of the individuals involved in the incident were students at Douglas High School.
