RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City Police have arrested a man in connection with a stabbing late Wednesday night.
Police responded to the 1200 block of Atlas Street for a report of individuals fighting. Upon arrival, officers discovered that a woman had been stabbed during the altercation.
The woman was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries that were not life-threatening.
Police apprehended a suspect following an investigation hiding at a nearby church. The suspect, identified as 22-year-old Tyree Goodrow of Rapid City, was taken to the Pennington County Jail.
The knife allegedly used in the assault was recovered by officers at the scene.
