RAPID CITY, S.D. — Police in Rapid City are investigating the early morning robbery of a casino.
Police say around 12:55 a.m. on October 29, they were dispatched to 1320 Mount Rushmore Road for a report of a robbery that had taken place.
Police made contact with an employee of the business on arrival, and the employee informed police that an unknown male had entered the casino, motioned like they had a concealed firearm, and demanded money.
The male left with an undisclosed amount of money when the employee complied.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 18-25 in age, and was wearing a black sweatshirt, black pants, black and white shoes, and a white COVID mask.
Police are still waiting for the business to provide security footage of the incident.
