RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City police are investigating an incident in which an SUV struck a 14-year-old, sending her to the hospital.
Police say the SUV was traveling eastbound Friday afternoon in the 4600 block of South Canyon Road when it left the roadway before striking the girl, and eventually crashing into a tree.
Police say the girl was in serious condition.
A male was driving the vehicle, but his age is not known yet.
Police were still investigating the incident.
