GRETNA, NE – Rapid City Post 22 ousted the Lincoln East Varsity Spartans 6-1 in Nebraska Thursday.
The Hardhats opened the scoring in the third inning after Alex Dietrich doubled, scoring three runs.
Lee Neugebauer earned the win for Post 22. The southpaw surrendered six hits and one run over five and two-thirds innings pitched. He struck out three and walked four batters.
Thomas Fraley took the loss for Lincoln East, surrendering five runs on seven hits while striking out five and walking two.
Eli Kelley collected the save.
Rowan Fredrickson appeared in relief for Post 22.
