GRETNA, NE – Rapid City Post 22 was back in action today at Gretna, Nebraska playing a pair of games.
In their first game of the day, the Hardhats defeated the Rocky Mountain Lobos by the score of 4-1.
Post 22 scored two runs in the bottom of the first inning, added another run in the second inning and a fourth run in the fifth.
Jadon Moreno earned the win for Post 22. He gave up four hits and one run over six innings of work. He struck out six and walked two batters.
Alex Dietrich helped lead Post 22 offensively, with a pair of R.B.I.’s. Wilson Kieffer went 2-3 for the Hardhats.
Tonight, (Friday) the Hardhats play the home team – the Gretna East Griffs Senior Legion at 6:30.
