RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City Post 22’s time at the American Legion Central Plains tournament was short lived as they lost to Mankato 7 to 2.
This follows a terrible showing for the Hardhats last night, in which they lost to St Michael, Minnesota 11 to 1.
Post 22 is now eliminated from the tournament.
Lee Neugebauer took the pitching loss for Post 22.
Hayden Holec helped lead the Hardhats offensive, going 2 for 3 at the plate.
Mankato led 6-0 before the Hardhats pushed two runs in at the bottom of the fourth inning.
The Hardhats finished with 4 hits and 2 errors on the day.
