RAPID CITY, S.D. –Rapid City Post 22 began a three-game series with Casper Friday night.
The Hardhats opened up with a hard fought 2-1 win.
Starting pitcher Wyatt Anderson earned the victory for Post 22,
Post 22 hosted Casper Post 2 on Friday night in the first game of a three-game weekend series, surrendering one run on two hits over six innings, striking out seven.
Meanwhile, Grant Nipper was on the mound for Casper. He went five innings, allowing two runs on four hits, while striking out six.
The two teams will play a twin-bill Saturday with games at 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
