GILLETTE, Wyo. – Rapid City Post 22 split a pair of games with Gillette last night.
The Hardhats shut out the Riders in game 1 4-0 and dropped game 2 by the score of 10-5.
In game 1, Ryker Henne had 3 hits to help lead Post 22. Starting pitcher Blake Weaver got the win, striking out 5 batters.
In game 2, Gillette jumped on the Hardhats early, going up 8-0 after 4 innings. Post 22 would add runs in the 5th, 6th, and 7th, but not enough to catch the Riders.
Bransen Kuehl had 3 hits and 3 R.B.I. for the Hardhats in game 2.
