RAPID CITY, S.D. – Post 22 picked up two wins, sweeping both games of a doubleheader with Pierre Post 8 Friday night.
The Hardhats opened the two-game series with a 10-2 win, and then completed the sweep with a 14-4 victory.
Hunter Tillery took the win for Post 22 in the game one. He went four innings, allowing one run on six hits, striking out four and walking zero.
Post 22 racked up 10 hits in the first game. Dylan Richey led the Hardhats with three hits in four at bats.
Meanwhile, Post 22 scored in all six innings to win game two, 14-4.
The Hardhats were led by Peyton Tipton, Bransen Kuehl and Ryan Bachman who each collected two hits.
Post 22 improves to 6-2 on the season.
