STURGIS, S.D. – The highway patrol has identified An 80-year-old woman who died Wednesday from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash five miles north of Sturgis, SD.
The highway patrol says Lynn E. Gray of Pringle was driving a Polaris Ranger on a private drive north of Sturgis when she was struck by a 1999 Dodge Ram driven by 20-year-old William Westberg of Whitewood.
Westberg was driving north on Avalanche Road near Eden Road when the accident occurred.
The patrol says Gray attempted to make a left turn in front of the Dodge to travel south on Avalanche Road when she was struck.
Westberg suffered no injuries and the highway patrol is investigating the crash.
