Ramona Marie Sebert, 83, of Rapid City and formerly of Aberdeen died July 13, 2024 at the Fountain Springs Healthcare in Rapid City.
Ramona was born November 11, 1940 in Minnesota to Clarence and Mary (Bitz) Anderson. She graduated from Selby High School in 1958. She married Leonard Sebert on October 15, 1958 and they lived in Aberdeen, SD where Ramona worked for Kesslers. The couple moved to Spokane, WA for several years before moving back to Aberdeen where she worked for Walmart. Their home was always open to family, and they enjoyed the company of nieces and nephews.
In 2018 Ramona moved to Judy’s Assisted Living in Belle Fourche to be closer to her sister Norma. In 2022 Ramona moved to Fountain Springs Healthcare in Rapid City.
Ramona was an avid gardener. She loved dogs and always had one for companionship.
She is survived by her sister, Norma Hagman of Belle Fourche; niece, Shayna Anderson of Denver, CO and nephew, Collin Anderson of Denver and other nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Cheryl Anderson of Pierre, SD.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Mary; her husband, Leonard Sebert and a brother, Gary Anderson.
A Graveside Service will be held Monday, July 22 at 3:00 pm at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis officiated by Father Kevin Achbach.
