Ranchers, public land users go virtual for fall conventions

MONTANA – Key gatherings of livestock and natural resource users will be attending their respective state conventions from home this year.  Both the Montana Stockgrowers Asssociation (MSGA) and the Montana Public Lands Council (MPLC) are hosting virtual conventions  this year.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions in Yellowstone County, the MSGA Board of Directors  voted to move forward with a virtual event. The shortened two-day event will focus on committee meetings, general sessions, and a virtual trade show. Meanwhile, the Montana Public Lands Council Annual Meeting will be going virtual, Dec. 8th. Registration is free and the meeting will include updates from Bureau of Land Management, US Forest Service, Montana Department of Livestock.
