RAPID CITY, S.D. — Rapid City Police say they are investigating an unattended death as a homicide.
Police say they were called to a residence in the 200 block of East Denver Street at around 7:00 p.m. Tuesday night for a report of an unconscious male. Upon arrival, police say they located a deceased male inside the residence.
Evidence was collected from the scene and police say an autopsy was performed. As a result of the autopsy, police say significant trauma existed on the man. They do not believe the death was self-inflicted.
The victim has been identified as 63-year-old Joseph Bradford of Rapid City.
Authorities say they were working the case as an apparent homicide.
