Rapid City Central announces Pat Moriarity as new head Track and Field Coach

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City Central has named a new Head Track and Field Coach.

Pat Moriarty will take over the Cobbler program starting next season.

Coach Moriarty has been coaching track and field for 15 seasons at the Class AA and Class A level.

In 2006, he began his coaching career at Lead-Deadwood before moving to Rapid City Central, serving as an assistant coach for eight years.

He served a two year stint at Douglas before going back to Central where he was assistant for the past three years.

Moriarty replaces Dave Dolan, who retired after 38 years of coaching.
