Rapid City Central Girls, Boys win team titles at Lakota National Invitational Cross Country Meet

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Rapid City Central girls and boys cross country teams won the team titles at the Lakota Nation Invitational Cross Country Meet Saturday.

The Central Girls finished with 18, followed by Wyoming Indian in second with 40. Todd County was third and St Francis Indian was fourth.

The Central Boys won the team title with 40 points followed by Standing Rock in second with 55. Wyoming Indian placed third and Rapid City Stevens was fourth.

Winning the girls race was Rarity Cournoyer of Red Cloud, finishing in a time of 20:37.34. Rapid City Central’s Sheridan Madden was second and Taylor Harrelson of Rapid City Christian placed third.

Lance Bradley of Standing Rock won the boys race in a time of 17:06.65. Jayden Taken Alive of McLaughlin was second and Jarret Kelly of Standing Rock was third.
