RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City Christian hosted the annual Comet Classic Track and Field Meet on Tuesday.
The meet saw Cerington Jones of New Underwood capture three events on the girls’ side. Jones won the 200 meter dash, the 400 meter dash and was anchor for the winning 4 by 100 meter relay team.
On the boys’ side, Blake Boyster was also a triple winner on the day. Boyster won the 100 meter dash, the 200 meter dash and was a part of the winning 4 by 100 meter relay team.
White River’s Caelyn Valandra-Prue captured the girls’ 100-meter dash in a time of 12.49.
Tack Tines of Wall won the boys long jump and Tyson Selby of Faith won the boys 110-meter hurdles.
