Rapid City Fire crews rescue dog, goldfish from house fire Sunday

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City fire crews say no one was injured in a house fire that occurred Sunday night.

Fire crews were dispatched to the 1000 block of Lemmon Avenue around 11:30 Sunday night for a report of a structure fire.

Upon arrival, crews found an active fire engulfing the home’s front deck and spreading into the home’s interior.

Fire crews rescued a dog and two goldfish from the home and no injuries were reported.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
