RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Rapid City Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire shortly before 2 a.m. Thursday morning in the 3600 block of Deadwood Avenue North.
When crews arrived they noticed smoke coming from a large commercial building.
Once they gained access, a large volume of smoke was noted throughout the building.
The main body of fire was located and quickly extinguished. Crews then worked to ventilate the building and overhaul the fire area.
No injuries were reported and the cause remains under investigation.
