RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Rapid City Fire Department says they were called to a grass fire on Monday morning.
In a social media post, fire officials say the fire was located on East Boulevard on the hills at the base of Star Village. Fire crews received the fire call just after 10:00 Monday morning.
The blaze burned about a tenth of an acre and crews were able to put it out quickly.
Fire crews across the area remind citizens it is still very hot and dry and to be careful with combustibles.
