Rapid City man charged in shooting pleads not guilty

RAPID CITY, S.D. – A Rapid City man was arraigned this week on three felony charges related to a March shooting.

Cetan Long Solider is accused of robbing and shooting a man in the leg outside a business on LaCrosse Street.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.

Long Soldier remains in the Pennington County jail in lieu of a $10,000 cash only bond. He’s scheduled to appear in court May 22 for a motions hearing.

He could face up to 25 years in prison if convicted.
